One of the most tragic and sinful statistics of all is that since Rowe vs. Wade in the 1970's, over 50 million unborn babies have been murdered in their mother's womb. Today over 1/3 of all pregnancies in America end in abortion. There is an abortion taking place every 20 seconds.
In addition to all of the other flaws in this post that people have pointed out, the SATs have been revamped several times since 1960, dropping certain tests, and adding a writing section that boosted the maximum score from1600 to 2400, so the assertion that SAT scores have gone down is meaningless.

Human values have not declined since the 60s if you are black, homosexual or female.
Why do some people point to a bygone era when institutionalized discrimination was common as "the good old days"?
True, human values in regards to minority groups and women have definitely improved. However the end of institutional discrimination against minorities happened alongside the decline of human values among people in general but neither was the cause of the other. I'm glad to see people of all colors can live side by side now, although we still have a lot of work to do in that regards as much as we have to work on general behavior.

Jesus said, "send me your poor, sick, those wishing to be healed....but first check and see if they have insurance or can pay in cash". You can't socialize what Jesus did, because if a messiah is gonna earn the same pay as a garbageman, what's the incentive to be a messiah? There's a lot of years of schooling involved in it. Not to mention being nailed to a cross.
Secularism in its simplest terms means separation of church and state. Jesus, himself, it can be argued never preached against that. In very many ways, Jesus preached that what comes from the heart is what is important. There are many quotes in the bible regrarding this. Some from the gospels and others from Acts and the letters of Paul. It is pretty simple to google quotes from the bible advising not to revolt against man-made governments.
