So yes, there is legal precedent that Morgan, in essence, as a foreigner, has no right to attack the Constitution.
It would not stand up in court. Using a 40 year old ruling as precedent when talking about free speech does not have a leg to stand on.

No, he will not be deported. Not in this incredibly politically correct, progressive society.

I posted it in response to those on this thread questioning those of us who are tired of Piers' rhetoric and the legality of the issue at hand.

I think the more logical "demand" we as American citizens can make is to have him removed from his CNN platform, which he has used, literally, as a front to attack the Constitution.

The petition is getting close to 32,000 signatures...way over the 25,000 needed and I bet you hardly any one is aware of it...

So long far well Pierce, perhaps a new job over seas in the good old UK...although he hs enough money that he doesn't have to work anymore...I hope he is paying taxes over here, that is at least something.

Yes, and there is still about 25 days remaining. Hopefully it will get upwards of 100K signs, since the petition for banning guns got something like 200K and Obama was on it like white on rice.

Once again let me put out the fact for the right wingers here who claim to respect the Constitution.

Constitutional rights to free speech apply to 1) US citizens and 2) Anyone on US soil.

Using the government to punish him by deporting him for his free speech is a violation of the Constitution.

This is just another example of how these gun nuts are so ignorant of Constitution they claim to revere.

This post is a great example of how these right wing "small government" whiney cry babies want to use the Government to take away the Constitutional rights of people who say things they don't agree with. He's pouting because "politically correct" "progressives" are following the law and Constitution by not using the government to punish a man for free speech.

Totally different circumstance as well. Morgan is here legally on US soil, thus afforded a Constitutional right to free speech. This other person was a foreign national not in the US.

Yea blabber on. Just don't pretend here you respect the Constitution or you are for small government.

You obviously don't know or care who is granted Constitutional rights, and are wanting to use the Fed to punish some man who said things you don't agree with.

As for Chick Filet, one local Dem official ran his mouth off and was denounced by scores of other Dem liberals for trying to punish free speech.
