Last I checked, it wasn't the President trying to force the US into default and trigger another Great Recession. Republicans created the first recession with their policies and caused America's first ever credit downgrade. Apparently they are not satisfied with that. These people make me sick!

The first downgrade occured under 0bama, due to his runaway deficit spending, with no sign of slowing down in sight.
The credit downgrade wasn't due to financials or fundamentals, the credit rating agencies voiced concern over our political gridlock. Their concern wasn't if we could pay, it was whether we would pay.

If the Republicans didn't play politics with America's debt ceiling our once sterling credit would never be downgraded. Republicans forced the downgrade just as they are trying to force a default today.
Most of the debt that we have today stemmed from spending that was authorized by the GOP Congress under Bush. For Republicans today to say they are not paying the bills they racked up, they are playing a dangerous game with the full faith and credit of the United States.
