But again, no threat or fear because he's a jokster and I don't take anything he says seriously. Some of his more committed fans however should probably be monitored but that's a whole other issue...

I personally find all these organized, like minded communities creepy. It reminds me of Waco and Jonestown.

Again, keep in mind that the Amish have pulled this off for 150 years and have done pretty well. The communes of the 60s all collapsed and the religious based "refuges" have collapsed.

There are currently many towns in the near west/midwest that essentially have people of like mind living there already. They are, for the most part, hard working, religious people who believe in the Constitution. I guess it would be easier just to move to one of those communities.

Won't they still have to follow all federal and state laws, and pay taxes? Basically it's a subdivision.

Again, all this talk about building libertarian communities and secession will go away when the black dude does.
Agreed, I can remember when the lunatic Beck proclaimed that President Obama had a deep seated hatred of white people based on nothing more than the voices he hears in his head.

Oh, and the FEMA camps can't forget about the FEMA camps.

It is obvious that Glenn Beck is a crazy racist or he just knows that there is good money to be fleeced from the rubes by acting like one.

Yep, a subdivision with the most horrible HOA and bylaws imaginable. It would have worked a lot better for Beck and his fans if race based deed restrictions were still legal. The way I see it, Beck's plan is to setup the ultimate white flight community with a special appeal to the aging teabaggers that can't handle the societal and demographic changes that have taken place in the last few decades. They can't take America back at the ballot box, so they are hoping that they can form their perfect little white dominated 1950s utopian version of America somewhere in Texas.

true.

David Koresh (born Vernon Wayne Howell; August 17, 1959 – April 19, 1993) was the leader of the Branch Davidians religious sect, believing himself to be its final prophet. Howell legally changed his name to David Koresh on May 15, 1990. A 1993 raid by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the subsequent siege by the FBI ended with the burning of the Branch Davidian ranch outside of Waco, Texas, in McLennan County. Koresh, 54 other adults and 28 children were found dead after the fire.
