Well, since there are many oppressed Socialist countries out there and only one that celebrates the right to own firearms and capitalism I suggest that you have many choices of where to relocate!
I'll stay here and fondle my guns....

The way I read it and this is JMO is that the 2nd amendment allows the states to form a militia and they are allowed to be armed and the Federal govt. can't take that right away.

No where does it say anything about individual right to own guns.

That being said I am a gun owner (one gun kept at home for personal protection) because the lax laws allow every bad guy in the land to purchase or steal unregistered guns from unscrupulous gun owners who don't have to register their guns.

I don't believe in CCW because it allows to many untrained gun carrying cowboys who think they are going to save the day.
In case you missed my earlier post:

Quote:
The thing is, there are two different types of militia. Organized and unorganized. My state's Constitution is specific on this:

"The organized militia consists of the following:
(i)Such elements of the land and air forces of the national guard of the United States as are allocated to the state by the president, the secretary of defense or the secretary of the army or the air force and accepted by the state, hereinafter to be known as the Wyoming national guard; and

(ii)Wyoming state guard forces, when organized.

(c)The unorganized militia consists of all persons liable to serve in the militia but not commissioned or enlisted in the organized militia."

19-8-102. Composition of state militia; age limits; physical and mental qualifications.

(a)Except as provided by subsection (b) of this section the militia of the state includes all qualified residents of the state between the ages of seventeen (17) and seventy (70) years, and any nonresident applicants as may be enrolled or commissioned therein, and in the case of the organized militia, who are within the age limits and possess the physical and mental qualifications prescribed by law or regulations for the reserve components of the armed forces of the United States.

(b)The following persons are exempt from militia service:

(i)Persons exempt from military service by the laws of the United States;

(ii)Regular or duly ordained ministers of religion, or duly elected church officials regularly conducting church services or recognized by their church as devoting the major portion of their time to the practice of religion;

(iii)Students preparing for the ministry in recognized theological or divinity schools; and

(iv)Persons who, by reason of religious belief, have scruples of conscience adverse to bearing arms
If an unorganized militia were ever called forth in Wyoming, I would serve. I have training as a firefighter and carry a CDL. I would expect to be armed. In the meantime, I will KEEP my arms and expect to BEAR them when necessary.

Me either.
I apologize for insinuating all homosexuals are "limp wrists", but I imagine some of the folks may be a bit effeminate:

Gun owner does not necessarily equal "more masculine", just as it doesn't necessarily equal redneck, paranoid freak, or any other broad generalization.

All the rights are aimed directly at being individuals.... With out guns and individuals there could never be a militia You are such a IDIOT TROLL.........

WRONG WRONG AND WRONG

Not one Right is aimed at any group and the god damn Govt didn't give us any RIGHTS in the first place. The RIGHTS are telling the god damned Govt to back off!

The 2nd is about if anyone gets the wise idea that they can take over the Federal Govt, that the people, that is We the people have every right to go take it back. That is to say if anyone from Germany, or China, or France, and or any particular other group decides to say set up a poppet king we have that right to take the Gov Back. We the People are the real Govt. and the feds appear to have forgotten that.

You never knew jack chit! Evidently. maybe you should have a chat with your legal beaver eater, which i doubt is any sort of a lawyer as no real lawyer in the USA would want anything to do with suck a foolish fool.

Once more, but i won't hold my breath....

Rights are for Individuals....... dammned trolls....

My post does not state otherwise...

The people is me, it is them and it is even you. The people.

The people's right to own(keep) and carry(bear) arms SHALL NOT be infringed...
The term people in the amendment is connected to the subject, which is MILITIA.

Not true. The term people in the entire Constitution refers to the people.

Individuals...

The f is not a spelling error.

You missed seeing this line i guess

"The House of Representatives shall chuse their Speaker "

I meant to add the link and skipped it

THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION - We the People

I find it amazing how dense some gun grabbers can be. Bit then gun grabbers have no use or want of their rights anyway.

Gun grabbers expect someone else to do for them any thing that is very hard, or to die to save their rotten lives.

I guess having no Rights but being able to wear high heels and make, so you can create the illusion of health is all that matters.

I might know a little about the 18th century, maybe.....

Like my stockings? hangin off my sash..... got gold coin in em....

That gun is a tad long huh? Took that one to cal on my MC USA Tour (Serious) Of course i brought something smaller and bit more up to date too. Miss Kimber CDP pro II cali safe ya know..

And for these 2 pics were were getting ready for a wake/funeral in Md. We shipped this stuff there and went down on the bike.

Note the foliage turning... it was in Oct and we had one dang chilly ride home...
