I'm not so sure about the LAPD. Did you see the huge chemtrails behind that thing? Clearly another attempt at controlling our weather by "them".

Only 4 hours late to the party.
Further proof that CNN has its head up its posterior.
"Because meteoroids are smaller than asteroids or comets, they are hard to spot and there is often little warning that they are heading toward Earth, he said." -- Russian meteor causes blast; hundreds injured - CNN.com
Asteroids, meteoroids, and meteorites are the same thing. A meteoroid is an asteroid that enters Earth's atmosphere. A meteorite is a meteoroid that impacts the ground. CNN once again demonstrates its stupidity for all to see.

pretty sure those retorts are the Great Russian Motherland Meteor Defense Collective shooting at it with their WWII era rifles.

Yes. I believe that despite what the NASA officials are saying that this was a lead in fragment rock ahead of the main rock due to fly inside Earths satellite orbital zone several hours from now. This is not coincidence. Earths gravity sucked this smaller rock in. Instead of focusing on the larger asteroid, they got sidetracked and missed the smaller rock (or they might have knew about it already) and it's trajectory.

I have to wonder...have Al Gore and CNN started blaming it on global warming yet?

The Earth sucks in a lot of junk. There are two meteor showers that are peaking at this time, the Alpha Centaurids, and the Theta Centaurids. The Alpha Centaurids occurs from January 28 through February 21, and peaks on February 8. The Theta Centaurids occurs from January 23 through March 12, and peaks on February 10.

This was not a big meteorite, maybe 8 to 12 tons in size. Meteorites that size impact the Earth annually, just not typically over populated areas.

Last I heard, that smaller meteor this morning had dropped at least three wallets - with ID intact - along it's path. One was dropped in the middle of a street, one was dropped at the Russian border, and one was found alongside a charred lump of meteor.

I have to wonder...have Mike Huckabee and Fox started calling it a warning from God to stop gay marriage laws yet?
