The government has not business telling anyone- gay, straight, whatever- who can or can't get married.

And why is someone's pride in the fact that they will believe ridiculous claims with no evidence considered a good thing?

I could say the same thing about claims that being gay is not a choice.

Actually, there's quite a bit of research proving the fact that you're born that way.

On the other hand, there's plenty of proof God isn't real and evolution happened. Conveniently, most religious people choose to ignore this fact.

Actually, the Catholic Church says that Christianity and evolution are compatible. So, I take exception to your use of the word "most".
The Vatican claims Darwin's theory of evolution is compatible with Christianity - Telegraph

What a garbage article. They hated on evolution for ages, now they claim that it could be traced to St. Augustin and Aquinas. How convenient.

What are you talking about? The Catholic Church has NEVER not taught evolution as part of their science curriculum. Please keep your evangelical wacko-ness confined where it belongs - in Creationist circles and in Creationist schools, and in Creationist colleges. Stop trying to rope in those who don't agree with the censorship of science as you do. And by the way, we're talking about the 20th and 21st Century. I don't want to hear some prehistoric tale about when the church was first established or some such crap like that.

What are you talking about? Maybe you should improve your reading comprehension.
