Again, it's not your spouses right to make medical decisions on your behalf. It's YOUR right, which the government assume, absent any other documents, you wish your spouse to make. You can override that with documents.
So what about normal spousal decisions? Is the spouse going to be able to sign those away too?
I don't actually agree with the position southward bound is maintaining here, but I feel it's only fair to point out that, by definition, the existence of God is a matter of faith, not evidence - or at least, not in the sense you mean the term.
And why is someone's pride in the fact that they will believe ridiculous claims with no evidence considered a good thing?
What a garbage article. They hated on evolution for ages, now they claim that it could be traced to St. Augustin and Aquinas. How convenient.
What are you talking about? The Catholic Church has NEVER not taught evolution as part of their science curriculum. Please keep your evangelical wacko-ness confined where it belongs - in Creationist circles and in Creationist schools, and in Creationist colleges.
