One doesn't always need the federal website. Many states have their own.
"Many" equals 14.5 and one of those "Many" is Oregon which has still not got a web-site up and running. They also don't have any clue about when they will have their web-site operational.
On the UP side - Oregon has around 40,000 applications that they are doing by hand and apparently, Oregon has the capability to figure out the subsidy. For the 35.5 States that HealthCare.gov is responsible for that is not the case - only the Web-site can figure the subsidy.
The most immediate problem is going to be the Millions of citizens that had Insurance coverage on December 31, 2013 and find they have NO coverage on January 1, 2014. Next will be those that think they are now covered and find out that the "glitches" have struck again because they could not be processed.
Bottom line - nobody is covered with Health Insurance (unless you are a freebie, i.e. Medicaid) unless they have sent in a payment for coverage.
What you have here is a lesson that the Republicans never seem to learn; if you tell a lie, never admit it, just pretend you didn't say it. Dems never admit mistakes, they just ignore them and move on to the next idea. Reps tend to keep making excuses for whatever it is they've been perceived to have done and then keep trying to defend themselves against what the media and Dems say whether it's true or not. Maybe one of these days the Reps will wake up, but I'm getting tired of waiting.
Actually, most people are finding that their cost on the exchanges is less than they previously paid.
Obama was actually correct, if you had insurance in 2010 and that policy was continuous, your policy was grandfathered. The policies that must be renewed annually aren't grandfathered.
I know how much you hate Obama and you will cling to whatever you find to re-enforce your pre-existing believes. Ultra-conservatism is a pre-existing condition that has no cure.
Besides Obama care,do you know about anything thats going on in this country or the world? I'm not saying you know about Obama care either...your living life with blinders on.

Guess you believe everything that Obama says, did you know he was a liar? Oh, by the way, I have a bridge to sell you!
