Here's a whopper!

Brennan Sent Letter to Benghazi 'Survivors' | The Weekly Standard

Quote:
A State Department official told CNN that the U.S. government was involved in helping the young Libyan government destroy old and damaged weapons and ruled out State Department participation in any effort to transfer weapons out of Libya. According to the CNN story, the spokesman “clearly told CNN they ‘can’t speak for any other agencies.”
I'm surprised Hillary can sleep at night after this one..

Quote:
But in interviews with TWS this week, several more skeptical U.S. officials pointed to an exchange between Senator Rand Paul and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as a possible explanation for the CIA sensitivity about the mission. Paul asked Clinton about the possibility that the U.S. was involved in sending weapons from Libya to Syria.
“What I’d like to know is – the annex that was close by – were they involved with procuring, buying or selling, obtaining weapons, and were any of these weapons being transferred to other countries, any countries – Turkey included,” Paul said, referring to the “annex” operated by the CIA in Benghazi.
Clinton told Paul that his question would be better directed to “the agency that ran the annex.”
“You are saying you don’t know,” Paul said.
Said Clinton: “I don’t know.”
The Secretary of State and one of the folks who put an Ambassador into a "Annex" and not an Embassy. A person that repeatedly requested additional security due to the threat of attack? I would ask for more security to if I had someone on the ground and knew that they were gunning running for terrorist where my "Ambassador" was..

Hell is going to be busy in the next 20 years or so...

Can you show one piece of legislation that has gone through this?
For your information:

You can review several different items at this link...

http://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-r...ng-legislation

You can read the text and post a comment on such legislation as H.R. 2167 - Reverse Mortgage Stabilization Act of 2013 or H.R. 1911 - Bipartisan Student Loan Certainty Act of 2013. Also, it has an RSS feed that you can subscribe to.

However, this can also be found on the Congressional websites, which would be a better place to review and comment, because legislation has yet to be passed.

You can also review executive orders on the White House website, although you can't comment on them.

Every politician, or human being for that matter, is a liar.

You are the only one bringing race into this conversation.

That's a typical deflection to imply racism is involved.

If you disagree with the lies listed, then prove they weren't lies and don't pull the race card....that doesn't cut it anymore.

Never heard the term "Honest Abe" or hear the story about George Washington and the cherry tree?

"They all do it" is just another lame deflection.

So for the brain-dead obamaites, it's simply a matter of "well' your guys lie too!!!!". Only they thought that obama was going to be better than that. Now, they won't admit he's the biggest POS liar ever to hold the office of president as this thread has clearly demonstrated to anyone with a working brain (which, of course, excludes the brain-dead leftists posting here).

* End no-bid contracts:*Candidate Obama heavily criticized the Bush administration for awarding no-bid government contracts to well-connected corporations. He also pledged to end no-bid contracts above $25,000. Yet the Obama administration has awarded*hundreds of millions*of dollars in non-competitive contracts, including a*scuttled $24.6 million Afghanistan reconstruction deal*to a top*Democratic donor.

* Halve the deficit by 2012:*Obama’s biggest broken promise. Less than a month after taking office, the president decried the nation’s $1.3 trillion deficit and vowed to cut it in half by 2012. Yet the national debt has increased more during Obama’s first three-and-a-half years in office than it did during George W. Bush’s entire two-term presidency.

*Hold Wall Street accountable:*Obama has repeatedly pledged to “hold Wall Street accountable” for its myriad crimes against the global economy and the American people. But from day one he has done quite the opposite, picking top Wall Street executives and government officials responsible for destroying the economy to run his economic transition team and failing to bring any of the ‘banksters’ who made billions by destroying the livelihoods of millions of Americans to justice.

*Public Option:*The public health insurance option, in which a government-run health insurance agency would have competed with private health insurance companies to provide affordable health care to millions of Americans, was repeatedly touted by Obama as a necessary and essential part of any health care reform. Candidate Obama vowed that*“any American will have the opportunity to enroll in a new public plan.” But the public option died an agonizing death.

* Increase minimum wage to $9.50/hour:*While campaigning, Obama pledged to*”raise the minimum wage to $9.50 an hour by 2011, index it to inflation and increase the Earned Income Tax Credit to make sure that full-time workers can earn a living wage that allows them to raise their families and pay for basic needs such as food, transportation, and housing.” The federal minimum wage is currently $7.25/hour.

*Establish foreclosure prevention program for homeowners:*Candidate Obama vowed to establish a $10 billion foreclosure prevention fund to assist troubled homeowners with refinancing or selling their homes.

* Close the “revolving door” between public and private sectors:*Just days after taking office, President Obama vowed to*”close the revolving door that lets lobbyists come into government freely.” Yet he has warmly embraced K Street, granting ethics waivers and appointing prominent lobbyists to crucial administration posts. OpenSecrets.org identified 409 Obama administration officials who have spun through the revolving door.

* End income tax for seniors earning less than $50,000:*“Obama and Biden will eliminate all income taxation of seniors making less than $50,000 per year. This will provide an immediate tax cut averaging $1,400 to 7 million seniors and relieve millions from the burden of filing tax returns.” ~Obama-Biden Social Security Plan, 2008. Nothing of the sort has happened.

* Negotiate health care reform legislation in public:*The president promised to hold health care reform legislation negotiations in public, “around a big table.” “We’ll have doctors and nurses and hospital administrators. Insurance companies, drug companies — they’ll get a seat at the table, they just won’t be able to buy every chair. But what we will do is, we’ll have the negotiations televised on C-SPAN, so that people can see who is making arguments on behalf of their constituents, and who are making arguments on behalf of the drug companies or the insurance companies,” he said.*But many of the most important negotiations occurred behind closed doors, and a leading health insurance industry figure*actually wrote portions of the bill that became the Affordable Care Act.

* Waive tax penalties on individuals who take early withdrawals from individual retirement accounts:*Candidate Obama promised to allow penalty-free ‘hardship withdrawals’ from IRAs for amounts up to $10,000. He quickly abandoned that pledge.
