CNN national security analyst Peter Bergen told host Jake Tapper on Monday that the explosions in Boston could be the work of Al Qaeda terrorists as much as they could be part of a planned assault by “right-wing extremists.” CNN has drawn ire because one of their experts speculated that "right-wing extremists" could be behind the Boston explosions - but in fact the expert gave equal weight to the possibility of Al Qaeda involvement.

Good Morning America on ABC, therefore, played right into the hands of those who preach a liberal media bias when journalist Brian Ross, speaking to host George Stephanopoulos, said alleged perpetrator James Holmes was a Tea Partier.

The left always points fingers and tries to place blame on he right.

My scenario is just as plausible as yours and shows just how silly you are.
Actually, no, your scenario makes no sense at all. Tim McVeigh was a rightwing extremist, and his "Don't Tread On Me" views about an oppressive Federal government are shared by rightwing extremists in the Tea Party. Tim McVeigh blew up a Federal Bdlg. on the anniversary of Waco. The explosions in Boston happened on April 15th, when Federal taxes are due, and happened on "Patriots Day"

There are 2.5 BILLION Muslims in the world...if they all wanted to attack us, we'd be annihilated. The Crusaders returning from the Holy Land brought a tremendous amount of information about medicine,
astronomy and math. This influx of knowledge sparked the Renaissance. Thanks to the Muslims, we aren't still using Roman numerals. Jesus is a revered prophet in Islam, and there is a sacred rock where they believe he stood to speak to them. One fact about Malcolm X that is often ignored is that when he made his hajj to Mecca he realized that he was praying with blond, blue-eyed Muslims. That was a life-changing experience; he overcame his hatred, and that likely caused his death. Things are far less frightening when you inform yourself instead of concocting bizarre conspiracy theories, which seems to be your main goal in life.

So automatically that makes anyone who is conservative a nut case like him right. By the way, the subject of this thread is how Chris Matthews is already putting out crap to blame it on the right wing. He is ridiculous. I wonder how he will report the Risin incident.

So, Michael Savage, of right-wing radio makes an accusation about the largely nonexistent liberal media. Then, you confirm that they "subtly" did so. Funny, I was watching MSNBC all night and they made no connection -- and went out of their way not to accuse any group. What did you exactly hear them say?

It's as good a theory as any. Some deranged person could very well be making an anti-tax message, as incoherent as that message is.

Fox did not make any kind of connection with left or right in fact they discouraged jumping to conclusions. They just reported what they found out. MSM's Matthews didn't even try to hide his accusation of the right. It's really nothing new.

The people's family have not even had time to think and come out of shock and Matthews is already at it. People on the right have grown to expect Matthews extremism. Even sadder, Chris Matthews is where many on the left gets their news.
