Wrong. You can get a student loan. Don't be obtuse and lazy. Go to the FAFSA website and get a student loan. And if you have no cash, get a job. Any job.
I'm pretty sure I cannot get a student loan, I've asked the financial aid people who claim to be experts and professionals.
Why do you limit 'low wage earners' to burger flippers? If you want to be that nonsensical, how about paper boys?
Are you talking about section 8 housing? I agree. Get rid of that program.
BTW, you can buy a home in Bolingbrook for $47,900 as of this moment. At 3.5% interest over 30 years that comes out to $215.09 per month. $1600 in property tax based on 4% tax to home value makes the total outlay around $346 per month. The lowest rent I can find there is $750. The average McDonalds salary in the Chi area is $9 per hour. $18720 per year. $4140 for mortgage as well as state, fed, SS, and homeowners insurance leaves that person about $200 a week left. So it can be done. And let's remember that the person may qualify for EITC.
Actually I use 'burger flippers' as a generic term for people in low-wage dead-end menial jobs. I had a total loss of income and extended hospitalization several years ago from which I have not recovered financially, so now I couldn't even buy this house.
And for some reason I had confused Bolingbrook with the handful of similar-sounding hoity-toity top 1% suburbs of Chicago.

That sucks dude.
Unfortunately, we cannot afford, as a nation, to pay for 309 million separate peoples misfortunes.

Stop the lying sob story pal. With an attitude like this, no wonder you have nothing in life.......
You live here 24/7/365 while you whine about everything. Go do something productive. And I see you like to use 'burger flipper' quite a bit. You seem to have issues with people who work in low paying jobs as you cry and do nothing.
I don't have to work. It's a nice luxury to have when you've busted your ass for 38 years and saved a little. You're the fool whining about 'inequalities'. You're 'active' in crying and moaning. I've contribute/contributed more than you ever will kid. You can claim anything you want here. It's cyberspace. Judging by your attitude you do nothing but leech and snivel. The disparity will always exist. Get over it. Or start another riot with your fellow OWS garbage.
What a life...
Getting up at 4am every morning to troll.
And I love how you keep becoming more and more of a big shot as your lies continue.
