GITMO is a fine prison, if it ever closes it would make a great vacation resort without much modification.

The stone age neandrethal countries can think whatever they are told to think by their radical religious leaders.

Sure, we are going to appease these terrorist cowards if we close GITMO....what is the next brilliant suggestion to achieve world peace.

As far as the middle east goes, the leadership may as well be from Mars as they have nothing in common with the civilized world.

I do not know how accurate your info is as far as "return-to-field-of-battle" but many being held were innocent and have been cleared to be released, no one should be held in prison based on someone thinking they might turn to violence in the future.

It would also help with our image in Latin America! Maintaining a Gulag in Fidel and Raul's nice little country belies everything we stand for. How is Guantanamo all that different from Cuba's prison on the Isle of Youth (once called the Isle of Pines)?

I think every one of them should be given a big nasty pig to be their cell mate.We should tell them that ALLAH is afraid to mess with us for fear we will also lock him up with a pig...lol That should get them so mad they will self destruct .These people still laughing about what happened to us on 9/11 need to be chastised..
