Why do we take prisoners anyway? Why not just shoot them where we find them especially now since they can lawyer up?

Maybe they should go to Oregon to commit suicide.

So the other 96% need to remain in jail forever for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, the only difference between us and good old Russia is that we have better prisons.

I'd like to know is this hunger strike is real or is it that we can't afford to feed them due to the sequester?

Some of these comments are disgusting.

All these alleged criminals want is to be charged or put on trial. What we are doing in Gitmo is unconstitutional, and in breach of international law. Its even more appalling in light of the recent study that outed the Bush admin as encouraging and allowing torture, on prisoners whom some were known FOR A FACT to be innocent.

Yet you all mindlessly applaud. Way to go.
