Nothing. But what has George W. Bush or Bill Clinton done to personally improve my life? Nothing. I'm not relying on Obama to improve my life at all. That's what I finished my degree in Business, completed my certification in Business Analysis, and generally work my butt off at work every day. Anybody that thinks the POTUS can make that big a difference in their lives and is capable of doing it themselves is going to be disappointed. And yes, I voted for Obama twice and I don't regret either vote.

Bush's budget didn't.

Deficit: Bush kept the cost of two wars off budget
As we have noted here before, the U.S. military has largely paid for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan through emergency spending measures, in effect keeping wartime costs off the books. In addition to masking skyrocketing budget growth at the Department of Defense, this process has allowed the services to treat budget supplementals as a piggy bank for new procurement. Members of Congress may have grumbled about poor oversight, but they have largely acquiesced.

Obama’s message? Not anymore.

ROFLMAO The new york times? Give me a break. The most proven to be wrong rag ever printed. Amazing how that looney leftest obama butt kisser writer left out something EXTREMELY important; There was no surplus under clinton, just a REPUBLICAN CONTROL CONGRESS that controled spending and actually was gaining ground on the debt (yes, it is stupid and foolish to believe the lies that there was a surplus under clinton and his policies when in fact we just didn't go in debt but gained some ground on the debt BECAUSE of REPUBLICAN policies).

Also this leftest writer left out the most important thing that changed the budget from 2001 to 2002 FISCAL year; 9-11. You remember when a bunch of islamic peices of s^!* hijacked 4 planes and flew 2 into the World Trade Center (which the businesses in those 2 buildings controlled over a 1/3 of our economy), 1 plane into the Pentagon, and we had HEROS on the 4th plane that crashed in a field instead of a building.
Also the debt is totaled up EVERY YEAR and all debt even the emergency funds totals are added in and compiled and that is the Nations debt for that year. Of course my guess is out of trying to protect the worst president ever and a dimwit senate, we are to believe this lie on how things are accounted for the Nations debt spewed out by this idiot lying writer?
It's all always on the books regardless of how it got there.

You must be looking at the President through the eyes of Glenn Beck. I haven't been and I see thousands of good paying jobs in the auto industry with the government loan already paid back with interest. Now fannie Mae and Fannie Mac are paying back in the millions every month. The war was ended in Iraq and fewer lives have been lost so far this year in Afghanistan than die in one day on American highways. I could go on but i'm sure it would only make you sick at your stomach.
