I cannot say I'm surprised though.
Well, obviously I didn't say that. Which means, you had to resort to lying for some reason.

But anyway, the Democratic Party already does represent all Americans. We have black, white, hispanic, asian, gay, straight, religious, and non-religious members.

The Republican Party is basically a white, Christian party.

The Black percentage is remaining constant. The Dems will face issues.

Voting data doesn't back up your hypothesis.

Why does Obama have just a 39% approval rating (well below George W Bush at the moment) among all non-blacks?
Actually in 2005 Bush was already below 40% including whites, blacks and everyone else.

If the percentage of the white vote continues to decline and the percentage of the minority vote continues to increase, yes we will face issues. They will be issues pertaining to governing.

It is funny. Well, until the politicians sit down with all their detailed polls and figure out what the minimum is that they need to do to keep their loyalists from getting upset enough to not vote.

That's how NAFTA got passed despite virulent union objections.

I had a lot of friends and family that lost thier jobs due to that.

You misunderstand, I'm merely noting that those groups have been hurt.....they are still locked in tight to the party though since they have nowhere else to go and the politicians KNOW IT. That's the whole point.

Sucks to be the cow with the free milk sign hanging next to it's udder but hey that's the 2-party system.

It's the same thing for the republicans, I mean real fiscal conservatives don't have a viable option with either party and also get milked.

Yep, Bush was a popular as an STD.

While Obama is still more popular, the scandals etc. have taken their toll.

I've been cautioning that if Obama get's lame ducked in 2014 (The senate is looking precarious given the retirements of Baucus and the guy from SD.)....and Obama's history of bending for the Reps....it could get really really ugly in terms of republican legislation passing in lopsided trades with Obama.

That's why all the gun control stuff just died after some grandstanding as well as the Keystone opposition folding tent. Dems are seriously concerned about some of those rural state senate seats. (and they should be)

The current administration definitely has a lot of issues. That's for sure.

Your assumption is that non-black minorities will continue to vote at the same level for the democrats.
