Good to know.
He is also fine with adult men threatening a 10 year old kid's life, his parents lives and threats of arson.
He is fine with adults swerving a car at a child and forcing a kid into a curb, knocking him down. He is fine with adults stomping a kids bike damaging it.
He seems to be fine with a lot of things most people would think are crimes. Oh wait they are crimes.

The union eventually went back to work, about six months after I left. They didnt win though, the whole lockout was because of senority and how the company couldnt fire or reassign workers to new jobs, specifically those workers whose jobs had been replaced by technology. That and they changed the healthcare to what the management had, you had to pay 28.88 every two weeks instead of it being 100% free.
Also pay went up, instead of what every liberal and union memeber will tell you. They would have you believe companies would pay minimum wage if it wasnt for unions, funny how our pay went up compared to the unions.

I dont know if I would "scab" again though, I dont think I would if I had a family, especially kids. The whole threats of violence from the union and the scare tactics they use can get to you. I cant say for sure because I dont have kids but if someone from a union was following me around and then started following my kids around and then sent threats pertaining to my kids I would be pretty mad.

Most of em are mouthy cowards that dont have the nads to throw down without their MOB. I used to get in their face when i crossed their picket lines and they would back down from me. The thought they might follow me around never crossed my mind and in fact I would have welcomed the opportunity to engage away from the worksite

BS. You demanding more money does not give you the right to extort and threaten someone else willing to do the job. Not surprising a liberal union supporter has no problem breaking the law to get what they want.

That is a microcosm of what killed unions. Sane folks see them as the thugs they are-with the incompetent clinging to them as they cannot keep a job on MERIT, but the capable more than happy to be judged, and paid, solely on their true Fair Market Value. The latter are the adults in the room.

Or maybe just move to another country. Aside from sick leave, the U.S. also trails other countries when it comes to statuory vacation and holiday leave.

Below, a chart of countries of statutory paid vacation and holiday time. The United States is the only country in the group that does not require employers to provide paid vacation time. Damn, those American workers are spoiled---unions, who needs 'em?

Yet, we have paid vacations and paid holidays despite no government mandate.

Lots of people don't have paid vacations and holidays, and often you have to earn your vacation time, i.e. you have no vacation time in your first year, and start accruing it later, same with paid sick leave.
I don't think it's like that in most other countries.

Dude definition of a scab from Merriam Webster...

Scab - Definition and More from the Free Merriam-Webster Dictionary

b (1) : a worker who refuses to join a labor union (2) : a union member who refuses to strike or returns to work before a strike has ended (3) : a worker who accepts employment or replaces a union worker during a strike (4) : one who works for less than union wages or on nonunion terms.

As for the threats of union violence they pale in comparison to what the owners have done to workers in the past, such as using the state militia and private security forces aka the pinkertons.
