It is more complicated than that. That poor girl was given a crappy hand in life. She has a very severe form of cystic fibrosis and as a result, will not have a long life with, or without, a lung transplant. However, she was really not kept alive with these two adult sized lung transplants. She was kept from dying. There is a difference. She will fight dying the rest of her very short life.

The transplant list guidelines were devised to save the most lives and for the best possible outcomes.

You've heard of HIPPA, correct? Do you really think they are going to publish the names of those that were passed up on the donor list?

Come on. Surely you are more aware than this.

I guess in chief's world, no one dies, or would die, if they did not receive a timely lung transplant except this girl in the news. Fox News disciples are taught not to question or even think outside of their skewed news box. Since Fox News didn't give the names of those who did not get the lungs if Sarah hadn't, those people do not, or sadly did not, exist.

I wonder if Fox News is giving updates on this girl's ongoing progress, or lack thereof.

I guess in your world you can make baseless projections about all these dead people everywhere due to this girl with nothing to back it up then cry HIPPA. You should work for the government. Now you go on to blather about FOX news as if that has anything to do with this thread in the least. So you are on a double deflect. Good work.

Are you implying that the other people on the lung transplant list did not need a lung transplant to stay alive?

No YOU are implying that people were dropping dead all over because of the transplant. Four I believe was the last number you quoted. Are there more now?

FYI, there are more people in need of a lung transplant than there are lungs available. Adult lungs can be split to save the lives of two adults.

Being in need of a transplant doesn't mean you will die tomorrow. YOu have heard of "waiting lists" correct? The key is "wait". Many wait and are "passed up" by others who are or become worse off then they are as this girl was. Do you keep a running count of how many are passed up due to a sicker person and count them as dead too? You are making less and less sense as you prattle on.
