Please tell us why you feel that way.

Then why didn't she want to go hard in court for him? Why was an extra TWO HOURS ti bring his killer to justice TOO MUCH??
Wall, for starters, her friend was/is DEAD. Nothing she does can bring him back from DEATH. Some people are not highly motivated by "revenge." Then she knew she would be taunted, that she would be the target of enormous hate and hateful things said about her. Most likely she knew it would be horrific, and, then, again, the bottom line is she knew nothing she could do or say in court could bring back Trayvon.

Seems to me it's possible you're PROJECTING your own need and beliefs in "revenge" onto other people. Not every person in this world is alike, nor do they all believe the same thing. Most people learn that kind of stuff at a very young age. Clearly, Rachel is very different from you so why would you expect her to be motivated by the same things that motivate you?

Thanks to you and Brentwoodgirl for responding.

I hope the defense can remind the jury if the state doesn't use the mma guy. There was a clear implication that gz had a special skill with mma which gave him an advantage over a skinny kid.

She's 19!!! That is an adult....

I'm sorry...if there was an emotional connection like that pathetic article pointed out...then two more hours would be nothing. That is a pathetic excuse.

So that she has the mind of a ten year old is justification?

She was just a hoodrat that "backed it up" for TM....

You answered your own question. He wasn't as nice to her as she proclaims, and maybe she realized that after his death. Not that it is the case in every scenario, but there was a reason he was so "friendly" with her besides his good nature.

True, if he was that close to her I'm sure she was bummed at his passing but the way she rolled her eyes and her sarcastic nature in court definitely did not help the prosecution, nope, not at all.

Have you ever been to Little Haiti? Do you really think a teenager from there is going to welcome contact with police and attorneys and testifying, maybe being blamed in some way for telling him to run, or for not calling police immediately after she lost the call?

Have you ever testified in court, let alone in a controversial murder trial? Piers Morgan said just now on CNN that he was grilled for a couple of hours in British court, and he was terrified, and he's an articulate journalist and broadcaster. Rachel was grilled in a hostile manner for something like 7 hours, while all the world watched, and don't think she didn't know how she would be viewed and judged.

The fact that she avoided all that only adds credibility to her testimony.

She is an introvert. So no, she didn't want to be on that stand. Who would have wanted to be on the stand? Of course she wanted to leave. But she stayed for her friend. She stayed. She stayed strong while being mocked, ridiculed, bullied and denigrated as a human being for not being a pretty little Barbie doll with perfect clothes, perfect speech and perfect hair. She found the strength to tell the court the truth even if is was not perfectly packaged and tied up neatly with a bow. She did us all proud. I doubt that many of us 'adults' would have had the courage to stand up and tell the truth for our friend. She was even honest enough to tell about the "creepy a-- cracker" comment when NO ONE ever would have known that information.

Yea because Piers Morgan was a DEFENDANT...Piers Morgan was IMPLICATED!!

She was a witness..

You really love comparing apples and oranges.
