Do you not understand the various tax breaks and property protection rights that come with being married? Those apply to ALL married couples, not just the ones who have kids.

Of course there are reasons to get married even without kids. He can get my pension easily if I die 1st, he can get social security survivor benefits, the list goes on. The main reason was I loved him. I will sleep easier tonight knowing that you have said my marriage is not perverted .
