Default One Juror says Zimmerman got away with murder

Personally, I'm very torn overall on this case. I can't make up my mind. With that said, this was quite interesting to say the least. Juror says she owes Martin's parents apology - Houston Chronicle

Keep in mind she is Puerto Rican, not black. Thoughts?

Been my thoughts all along. Zimmerman did have questionable actions in the moments leading up to the shooting, but it simply wasn't enough to convict him. As far as we know, only Zimmerman will know what happened the night he shot Trayvon. Maybe it was defense, maybe it was pre-emptive.

Let me the first to comment - the juror's comments are a mess of contradictions. If she said he "got away with murder" then why didn't she vote guilty and force a mistrial. That's her responsibility. Then she failed as a juror to do her duty.
But you have one paragraph saying "he got away from murder",
another paragraph saying "She said the jury was following Florida law and the evidence, she said, did not prove murder.",
another paragraph saying "When asked by Roberts whether the case should have gone to trial, Maddy said, "I don't think so." "I felt like this was a publicity stunt. This whole court service thing to me was publicity," she said."

A very confused soul.

Yeah he got away with murder but then says there was no evidence of murder. She also says the case shouldn't have been brought to trial. She's just throwing the Trayvoniacs some crumbs.

I guess she wants to get out in front of the inevitable death threats.

Here's my thought. The trial is over. There is to much animosity over this racial divide crap. That ship has
sailed. That horse is dead, quit beating it. Should be a time for unity. Just let it GO !!!!!!

She also says she feels just like Trayvon's mother feels.

OK, then.

Drama queen?

She admits she followed the law and the law left her no choice. That should be the end. Her silly little emotions have no place in the jury box, so shut up, girlie!

At least she did the right thing in the over all picture. She was asked if NG was her decision; she said yes.
