huh? you tell me when you talk to a parent who had a child molested by a predator, if that wasn't like having your child murdered, considering all the psychotherapists they have to endure.

I have, my son. At least he wasn't murdered and I still have him. The 12 year old that did that is in therapy.

No. Age of consent is decided by society to protect children. Period. Adults are expected to control themselves to protect children. Children don't know what's good for them. They don't get what's at stake. They live in a world where they imagine themselves to be invincible and trust adults to take care of them. Any adult who takes advantage of a child for their own sexual gratification belongs in jail because we need to protect children from them.
You DO NOT have the right to have sex with my daughter because you are attracted to her and she says yes. She's a minor. She can't make this decision. You are an adult and you are expected to protect children not use them for your sexual gratification. My daughter (15) doesn't get everything that is at stake. She's at a point in her life when she is, emotionally, immature, thinks she's invincible and that nothing bad can happen to her. As a society, we've decided to let kids mature before they have the right to make this decision because it's in the best interest of our children to do so. As an adult, you are expected to practice self control to protect the children in society.
