Obama-Speak: Homeland Security Secretary Replaces 'Terrorism' With the Term 'Man-Caused Disaster' | NewsBusters
NAPOLITANO: Of course it does. I presume there is always a threat from terrorism. In my speech, although I did not use the word "terrorism," I referred to "man-caused" disasters". That is perhaps only a nuance, but it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur.
The election of President Obama was a man caused disaster that occurred twice.

They managed to get Halloween costumes and a Halloween party banned--now we have a fall celebration--and their kids go to church on Halloween and dress up as bible figures to keep them safe from satan. I sat in a meeting once when one of them came completely unglued over someone who used the word "evolved" in a discussion about an ongoing situation--it referred to the concept of evolution! Gasp! Their kids are the ones who start ranting in class when they get to the section of biology on evolution. All of this makes it very difficult for the teachers to do their job, and for the kids to learn. I'm sick of it.

Someone with common sense put a stop to banning those words, but AS THE ARTICLE states, they were proposed to begin with because of religious fundamentalist parents having a fit over the years, and they would find them offensive. Why would anyone who isn't a religious fundamentalist CARE about it?
Right here is an actual story about people who care about it and are trying to ban words. Not a single mention of any religion backing these measures.

Again, I will note.....an actual, real story. Not one were we are required to have faith to believe it.

Progressives are making attempts at social engineering society.
They are too impatient to let society evolve on its own.

This is idiotic. Just poor communication skills that one doesn't know how to explain to the children.
