If a group is excepting major contributions from the fossil fuel industry does that destroy their credibility?

Quote:
Fractured Lives - July/August 2012- Sierra Magazine - Sierra Club

From 2007 to 2010, the Sierra Club's Beyond Coal campaign accepted more than $26 million from Chesapeake Energy, one of the country's largest natural gas producers. When new executive director Michael Brune learned of the donation in 2010, he turned away an additional $30 million that Chesapeake had promised and ended the Club's relationship with the company. Sierra editors spoke with Brune to clarify the Club's position on natural gas.
The irony is that money was used to help handicap the coal industry and now they are turning their sights on the NG industry.

I'm attacking a specific messenger here Sanspeur, Hansen's personal opinions are quite evident and when they run that deep it's inevitable they are going to affect to your work if it's related. That's just human nature.

Mr Coalman, it is obvious to me that you are biased and have an agenda, so I see no point in any further discussion with you on this subject.

If you consider me wanting a prosperous and happy future for the next generations because those that came before them didn't drive the bus off an economic cliff then yes I have an agenda.

Hansen doesn't deal in facts, he deals in assumptions. Show us some of his facts if you like? What "facts" does he provide? Remember, we are dealing with "facts", not assumptions, so when you provide that evidence, none of it can contain modeled information. It must be actual data.
