Google
Georgia kennesaw vs Chicago Illinois crime rate
So you want children to be armed with guns? That doesn't solve any problems because it is obvious gang members have no problem shooting at people that have guns on them.

Also while we are googling things, you should google NYC vs Chicago crime rate.

The problem is that most of the innocent people are shot by stray bullets and not directly by some thug with a gun. Easing access to guns will reduce the crime rate, but not by much. As it currently stands the CPD only clears about 33% of homicide cases.

This isn't to say that Chicago's crime problem shouldn't be addressed - it should. As Illinois and Chicago pension and debt obligations continue to mount there is going to be less money available to even fight crime. There was a recent article that stated crime is down this year, but the cops had to put in a lot of overtime to achieve that reduction.

How did you get that idea?

So we need to be unarmed because gang member don't value human life..yet the adds up.

as for gang members, if they were getting shot at by law abiding men and women, they would either be weeded out via attrition or would quit..

NYC is a police state safety at the cost of liberty is never a fair trade every.., and stop and frisk is over, lets watch the crime rate soar.

And yet the urban artist meusesm is still getting funds, and many other failed lefty feel good projects..

Easing access to guns will not do a damn thing but create more victims, and further infringe upon a basic civil right.

So gang members would disappear if people were armed even though they haven't disappeared from other gang members being armed. I don't think a gang member cares about who is armed, they just might be quicker to shoot random bystanders to be on the safe side.

The ending of stop and frisk isn't going to make anything soar, that is like claiming getting rid of the security checkpoints at airports is going to make aviation terrorist attacks soar.

Wut? Most of the budgetary problems in Chicago are related to unions and the underfunded pensions, not museums or zoos.

Crime in NYC had been going down for years and years and finally bottomed out in 2009.

Stop and Frisk was enacted in July of 2010 and crime has been going up since 2010.

First of all this is sensationalism at it's best.

Nashville TN had a higher murder rate than Chicago. It gets tiring to see so many gullible people read mess and not think for themselves.

Just because people don't want everyone carrying guns doesn't mean that crime will be higher.

Gun violence isn't destroying Chicago any faster than Detroit, St. Louis or Nashville. Get over it!

That's not true. Stop and Frisk has been in place for at least 10 or 20 years.

Here's the stop and frisk timeline.

hey knowing you might get shot trying to mug someone might make them think twice, or get them shot, either way a great thing..as for the last bit apples and oranges. I mean a crip is nothing like a Suicide bomber.
