Halloween is a night for children to dress up in costumes, collect treats and have fun. The little ones that come to your front door don't give a flying *beep* about Obamacare and could care less what some random grownup thinks about it.

Maybe it would be cool to give a kid a handout with information regarding obamacare's negative effects and tell them that it is something that will scare their parents.

If i lived in a liberal area i wouldn't be surprised if someone handed out pro-abortion or pro-gay marriage messages on halloween it would be their freedom of speech and i would respect it. When i used to live in a liberal state i recognized that i was the minority. I think liberals where i live now should realize it is they who are the minority.

Do y'all think Halloween would be a good opportunity to spread this information? A lot of people out there truly are not educated about things like the illegal alien Dream Act, the deficit, Obamacare, Obama's war on coal, the Democrats urban centric policies and the negative impacts that they have on basically all Americans outside of his urban base.
Obnoxious idea.

If you want to pass out political/religious literature......how about you walk around the neighborhood and knock on doors yourself instead of using children?

Really? That's even stupider than the woman who wants to pass a letter about childhood obesity

Absolutely not.

Why don't you put your misbegotten energies into working to increase unionization of the coal industry in your state? Aren't there enough deaths due to mine owners' greed yet? Put that in your corncob pipe and think on it a spell.

Amen. There is a time and a place for everything. Trick or treating is not for political/religious handouts.

WOW! It's sad that someone is so consumed with politics that he feels compelled to force his political beliefs on innocent children enjoying their Halloween fun

I think that it's an inappropriate venue, it's a kids trick-or-treat bag for crying out loud.

My guess is that you will irritate people more than inform them which is the last thing you want to do (if you'd stopped and thought about it.)

I'd rank it up there with starting a conversation about football with a co-worker....while they are taking a dump. It's not the conversation, it's the setting......
