Wrestling has been a major human sport for 5,000 years, and part of the modern Olympic Games since 1896.
Do we really want to supplant the honorable sport of wrestling with a "discipline" that originated in strip clubs?
Futhermore, women can already participate in all Olympic sports that men can, but men cannot participate in the female only "sports" of Synchronized Swimming and Rhythmic Gymnastics.
Will male strip... Harrier means "athletes" - be allowed to be Olympic pole dancers, or will this be another sport restricted to females?
Where is the spirit of gender equality?
WHAAAAA?????? FWAHAHAHAHAHAHA....
How would the gold metal be earned, by who get's the most money?
Nah, Russians would dominate 'I make Dance for dee mun-yay'
Nah, too many 13-14 year old wash out gymnasts entering the sport (unless you can say Bankok 2020)
It would open up a whole new coaching sector for greasy, balding, middle age men (who might end up 'tenting' in their athlelic suits on International broadcast)...
You can't make such a statement and ignore the impact of religion on American history, which most liberals tend to reject.
I'm not ignoring anything. I didn't give any reason why. but you're right about religion and that of the original settlers being a big part of it. I was simply pointing out that in America in particular nudity = sexuality to many people. in other western countries (not all) that doesn't seem to be the issue. I personally allow my children to watch movies/shows sometimes even if there is nudity as long as it is not in a sexual context, like say, if the characters are skinny dipping or a nature program about tribes who haven't discovered bras.
