You're correction is incorrect. Steve Schmidt chose her. Steve Schmidt was McCain's campaign strategist.

To Bashir's credit, he did apologize today.

This kind of vitriol is pretty much standard fare from today's left and from MSNBC. Truly disgusting. Aren't these the same people that lectured the country on civility in the aftermath of the Gabby Giffords shooting?

Any conservative commentator who said something even approaching this would be instantaneously fired and demonized by the MSM for weeks. And rightfully so. The question is, why do liberals like Bashir get a pass? They constantly demonize and dehumanize anyone who disagrees with liberal orthodoxy.
Hahaha, hilarious!

No, the choice of Sarah Palin was made by the GOP in opposition to Senator McCain’s preference of Joe Lieberman as his running mate; and because of the perceived need to have someone on the party ticket to act as a foil to Hillary Clinton, who was then thought to be the democratic nominee for President. The choice was made with hardly any imput from McCain’s campaign headquarters, and without any real due diligence as to her suitability for office. As it turned out, it was a very bad choice that cost McCain the election.

Should have been fired right after he said that on the air.
No excuses, no apologies.

Say what you want ON YOUR OWN TIME.

Presumably this IS his own time. These hosts run their own shows and oversee the preparation.

If every person on TV was fired for saying something dumb, there would be no one left on TV. Wait, maybe that's a good thing.
