All these straight people here coming up with excuses not to use condoms, telling themselves they are at a significantly lower risk of getting STD's. Let's put them to the test.
All you straight guys, would you REALLY have unprotected sex (or even protected sex) with a Poz girl? Apparently, all of you are basically claiming you either don't get it from vaginal sex or that the chance is miniscule.
So let's put it to the test. It's easy to talk behind a computer.

I think the fact that these straight guys wouldn't even TOUCH an HIV-positive woman is proof that you know you can get it almost as easily from vaginal sex as anal sex.
If it's not easily passed by vaginal sex, then you should have nothing to worry about. Have sex with any girl you please without protection.... you won't get HIV.... it's mainly an anal sex/gay sinner disease.... right?

Where in that quote dose he say anything about homosexuals? “unprotected anal intercourse is in a league of its own as far as risk is concerned,” Anal sex is not only practiced by homosexuals. HIV can not tell the difference between a male and a female anus.
Lots of disinformation flying around here. These are the actual risk categories:
-The person receiving anal sex, male or female, from an infected person is at highest risk, which increases if either person has certain other STIs. But overall infection rates is actually fairly small even in the highest risk circumstance, and depends mainly on the health of the infected person.
-Women receiving vaginal sex are at the next highest risk level, with the same circumstances affecting transmission.
-The "giver" in both vaginal and anal sex are at the next risk level -which is relatively low compared to the first two, but infection certainly happens.
-Giving oral sex, last time I checked, was still just a theoretical risk.
-Receiving oral sex has practically no risk.
I actually don't like when people lump HIV in as an STD. It's not really an STD, it's a blood-borne pathogen.

What two consenting adults do in their own private lives is always okay, unless you are trying to tell me we should have the public deciding what is and isn't acceptable sexual behaviors between two consenting adults. My wife and I would not approve of a pervert like yourself watching us have sex while judging us with what we do.
Oh my goodness. There's so much ignorance going around in this thread, no wonder there are rises in STDs. Not only in HIV/AIDS, but in diseases like herpes, chlamydia, syphilis etc. Guys it doesn't matter which method of sex is more or less risky, you still can get it no matter if its in the mouth, vagina, or anus. You still can get it, and the ways to prevent it are the same. Use condoms, choose partners wisely, or just don't have sex at all. Arguing which one is more at risk is silly as anyone gay or straight can get it. Get tested!! This is stuff you should've learned in high school.
