Not at all. As a Christian we are always peaceful and loving.
I get offended and upset over the persecution of Christians.
Really? Persecution?
So, you personally know somebody who has been stoned to death, burned at the stake, sawed in half, beheaded, fed to the lions, thrown from a cliff or crucified for being a Christian?
No?
We can still worship (or not) as we please?
Yes?
Oh, I see, you think we're being persecuted because somebody says Happy Holidays.
Really?
I didn't think so.
News Flash: We're not being persecuted. Stop whining, you're hurting God's ears.
This is partially nonsense. Both Indian religions (Hinduism and Buddhism) are philosophical in nature with greater cultural emphasis that recognize that other religions exist. In fact, in Hinduism, Jesus Christ exists as a prophet.
I love how people who have never studied religion in depth make up nonsense.
Don't be absurd. If the OP was born in India, the chance of him/her being Christian would be very slim, indeed, prophet or no prophet.
She'd be wearing a sari, eschewing beef, and giving prasadas to multi-limbed Elephant Gods, not insisting that Christianity is the one true religion.
Well, I realize it's a little late, but Happy Chanukah!
I'm a Christian, but the bible tells us we are "Jews by adoption."
Consider Abraham: "He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness." Understand then, that those who believe are children of Abraham. The Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: "All nations will be blessed through you." So, those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith. — Galatians 3:6 - 9 NIV
Elsewhere we are specifically told we are "Jews by adoption" (don't have time to look it up at the moment.)
You can't! Remember: There's a WAR!!!!! WAR, I tell you.
Wow, some folks' idea of a war is a lot different than mine. The war I was in I saw body parts everywhere, and people were shooting at us with military weapons and throwing grenades at us.
It was either Viet Nam or Miami on New Years Eve.
Wait, I left one of my internal organs there, it must have been Viet Nam.
