Also why does it matter what people buy on EBT? If they are like that person in the pic I posted and working 2 jobs then they pay for just as much of that EBT as you do.
Why are they having children they can't afford to begin with? Can't afford children? Don't have them. That is a pretty common sense thing to do, huh? Oh wait, were talking about hands out liberals...
So their lives choices led to catastrophe. Old people and gambling..... Go visit a casino at 10 in the morning 3 in the afternoon. It isn't working america packing the place. Stand in line at the convenience store that sells lottery tickets. It isn't the young people buying $40.00 worth of lottery tickets at a clip. While standing in line complaining that social security doesn't pay the bills.
I have no heart ache with the elderly. Most are responsible people who prepared for tomorrow, but far too many didn't.
The health Issue. We all face that risk. Young and old alike. If you don't have health insurance you are gambling. That too is a life choice.
Kids and college. Well if they destroyed their future for a kid to go to college they own that.
Ungrateful kids. Once again, who created that problem. There is a word in the english vocabulary. The word is NO.
I do have sympathy for "some" elderly who's lazy kids drained them. If it isn't babysitting the kids it's taking money.
While people I know were getting bigger houses asking us why we didn't buy a bigger place or drove a car for a long time. Now they are worried and saying they will die working while we retired young. I've never asked my parents for help but have in laws that always took from my parent in laws. The takers are no better off, might be losing their house and the parents can no longer help and are worried about making it themselves.
LOL same here. I never asked for a dime. I have friends who built 3000 sq ft houses and drive a new car every couple years. They say it's their reward to themselves. One was amazed at what I had in my retirement accounts. He works where I do and is the same pay grade. He asked how can you put that much away?
Well my mortgage isn't 2 grand a month, I don't have 500 dollar a month car payments and I don't eat out 3 times a week. I never finance a toy.
I could retire now, but I have a plan to work a few more years and really pad the deck. I will also retire to Thailand where our dollar goes a lot farther. I love it there and best of all it never snows.
You can't legislate responsible behavior by the same token government can't legislate prosperity. Government can help reduce irresponsible behavior like having babies they can't afford by not paying for the irresponsible behavior. If mom and dad are too busy worrying about food and other basic necessities instead of these needs being paid for by the tax payer they won't have time to make babies.
That is a ridiculous statement. Having sex is the strongest natural human trait we have, there is no stopping it. If women all got together and said no more sex, rapes would be rampant, and you all know it. Do you think thinking, caring loving moms and dads that have lost their jobs and gone thru their savings, and are out looking for work or are underemployed are gleefully jumping into bed to make babies? Don't be so dense, it isn't happening! We have a low birthdate, it isn't a baby boom anymore, but accidents happen all the time. It is not possible to stop humans from having sex, it is possible to protect from having babies, but a whole lot of those babies were pre-made, prior to hard times.
We work and instead of being able to keep the money we worked for we had to pay taxes to pay for the money on that EBT card so yes it is our business. Work and pay your own way and it will be your businesses. And you would think that you would put the people who pay for the food you put in your mouth on a pedestal.

Yeah busy being retired and doing what they want to do, not play baby sitter so junior and his wife can be part time parents. The word is No. LOL My neighbor pizzed his kids off. They kept sticking him with their kids and one day he cane over my house and we watched his son knocking and knocking. His son finally called on the cell and the old guy said gone fishing and hung up. The son wouldn't take no for an answer until his dad finally made it impossible for the son to use him. The son got over it, but it took about a month.
The money that could have been used to hire people instead went to the government in the form of taxes because the politicians make promises they can't keep and buy the votes of the people who believe that government creates jobs.

Those great construction jobs are booming here in TX. Problem is it's the illegals who are willing to work them.

lol, good for them. my inlaws moved away until my mil passed away then fil moved back home. The brother and sister in law were really ticked off and didn't speak to them for about a year.

lol, keep denying everything because everything "in your world" is working. By the way, I pay for EBT and it is my business. If you are offended or feel snubbed be better than people who take from others and get off EBT.
