NY has had a net migration loss for some time; it's cost them a few seats in the House.
The reality is it's not a welcoming place for anyone except the very rich and the chronically poor. Out of all my friends from childhood only one still lives on Long Island, all the rest went South or West. It's a common story.
First of all, they wouldn't need to build a studio if they didn't want to. They could use the facilities of a local Fox affiliate.
Second, if Hannity wants to move to Florida, Fox will absolutely figure out how to make that work, even if it does mean new construction. If they'll do it for a much lesser known radio-only personality (John Gibson), they'll do it for Hannity. His style isn't my cup of tea, but he's a big name - they're not going to let him go, simply because he's moving.
And yet, Hannity isn't moving. He is just pandering to his audience.

The natural immigration for retirees is from high cost states to low cost states, it has nothing to do with politics but everything to do with finances and warmer weather. Aging population in NY and high cost of living you could predict a loss. The thread insinuates their ois a departure because of lack of conservatism, utter nonsense.

You are right, he doesn't do any new because he isn't a journalist, he is just an opinion maker that people believe.
