The level of irrational thinking that has to be in a mind that can both embrace and reject the same statistic is truly amazing.

conservatives continue to drift further and further away from reality.

If you tell them a lot of the people will be young conservative stay at home moms who found they are able to have insurance without being tied to a job. As an example maybe the ACA underwrites her insurance and here two young childrens insurance by $400 per month and she and her husband make a decison that with the cost of childcare it doesnt make sense to work. Republicans might have a hard time arguing against her staying home.

That is a spin.

The CBO says a decrease based on what labor WORKERS choose to supply.. NOT a result of jobs being cut as a result of the ACA..

Nice try Republican spinsters..

Service has always been the lowest common denominator in the economic engine. Low pay, high turnover, no benefits and short work weeks to cut costs. Obamacare didn't invent that situation.
But Caterpillar hasn't dropped healthcare for their workers.
And neither have any of the other big ones.
They are big enough that most of the plans are grandfathered.

More than 1/2 of caterpillar's mfg plants are outside the US and are not affected by Obamacare.

conservatives reject reality when it comes to public policy and conservative elected officials are going to spread this lie without regards to the truth.

It is the plain text of the CBO report why they think workers will work fewer hours and yet conservatives will lie about it.

Policy disagreements are one thing right, but when you have one political party that realizes that they merely need things to "sound true" what some have labeled truthiness, it is difficult to have resolution to policy disagreements.

conservatives are in fantasyland and the extent to which they pretend that the CBO says what it doesn't say shows the level of rank dishonesty amongst conservative elected officials.

Here's the Washington Post's take on the CBO report versus the tweets from some in Congress. The CBO will address Congress tomorrow.

What the CBO report on Obamacare really found

"Premiums are expected to be 15% less than originally projected".

"No compelling evidence to suggest that the ACA has increased PT work".

Most nations with long term histories of true universal healthcare constantly revise and reform it.

The Constitution originally had 7 articles and was ratified 225 years ago. It was far from perfect or clear. It has been amended 27 times. The SCOTUS has been interpreting and ruling cases, ever since.
