The republican outrage is rich: "how dare you not work in the crappy jobs provided by the 'job creators', now that access to health care no longer holds you hostage!" I bet the plantation owners used similar logic on their former slaves.
So much for the 'right to work'. (Which inherently implies a right not to).
so quote where the CBO says 2 to 5 million people will leave the workforce ?
It doesnt, it says the number of hours lost will be equivilant to 2.3 million people losing their full time jobs.
Thats 92,000,000 HOURS of lost productivity, 92,000,000 hours of lost tax revenues, 92,000,000 hours of more people needing governmental assistance, 92,000,000 hours of people lowering their work to get subsidies etc..
It could be 18,400,000 reducing their hours worked by 5 hours a week...
The net result is LOST productivity, and normally businesses would hire employees to makeup the difference..
Well that CBO report just killed off the "crisis" about not enough jobs and not high enough wages didn't it ?
Are we at Utopia yet ?
