Obama, the tyrant in the Oval Office. What else can he do by decree. We have to ask.

Quote:
When it comes to the nationally unpopular and administratively troubled Affordable Care Act, is it correct that Obama can do what he wants?

House Speaker John Boehner complained that if the president could use the “whim” of his own edicts to give employers more time to adapt to the complex law, what about millions of individuals who are required this year to either have or buy health insurance before March 31, or pay a fine?
“If the administration doesn’t believe employers can manage the burden of the law, how can struggling families be expected to?” Boehner said in a statement. “This continued manipulation by the president breeds confusion and erodes Americans’ confidence in him and his health care law.”

GOP Irked by New Delay of Obamacare Mandate | RealClearPolitics
Once again, Obama steps over the line, acting in typical fashion, as the Supreme Leader, who is himself the law. A new delay, by fiat, bypassing Congressional authority, and all for political purposes, as the 2014 mid-terms draw near. He hopes to provide some protection of Democrat Senate seats.

If he could do anything he wants then why the need for GOP obstructionism, why the need to vote no on all proposed legislation and why the need for almost 500 filibusters.?

Obamacare is the law yet he thinks he can change that law . Yet when the republicans tried to go through congress to delay it all he said was he would veto any delay.

Let's make no mistake in forgetting that Bush thought the same thing concerning his "war on terror".

"Screw due process, I've decided you are a bad guy and I can ignore it".

No that isn't an exact quote but it is what he said. And we see what happens when one president isn't forcibly countered in those ideas. The next one expands upon them.

As much as the left doesn't think so there will be a guy in the White House they don't care for and unless this process is stopped its hard to tell what this next president will think he can do on his own.

Republican logic: Run ads for 4 years telling individuals and businesses not to sign up for Obamacare then get pissed at the President for delaying the fines for not signing up.

At some point, a President is going to use this precedent and kill a lot of citizens 'for the public good'.

Having someone take on this much power is a very bad thing.

Your take is beyond hyperbole. Maybe fantasy. The fact remains, that the various changes and delays are having the effect of rewriting a defective law (what conservatives and thinking Americans in general have been saying for the past five years), and attempting to provide political cover for the 2014 midterms.

Changing the babies clothes, dyeing its hair does not change the fact it is one ugly baby; baby.

You said my comment is beyond hyperbole, yet you in no way backed up this comment.

I realize this thread is about changing of the mandates within the law( and you continued to argue so in your entire comment outside of the first line), but you chose to respond to my comment and claim i was lying, so back it up.

where is the hyperbole ?
