The lady from New Mexico , I think she is a governor would be a far far better pic then both these pie baking grannies if a women is the best possible, at this time of desperation.

You miss my point.

The mayor of a small town of 5,000 may have more "executive power" granted by the town's charter, than say the Mayor of New York. That is irrelevant. The fact remains, in terms of population, Alaska is #47 out of the 50 states.
