Not really, but she did point out problems that were accurate.

Sorry, but putin invading ukraine has nothing to do with obama being elected. People who follow politics know this was going to happen sooner or later.

Then apparently Mr. Obama didn't follow politics because he mocked Mr. Romney's statement of concern about Russia and said he was "trying to drag us back into the cold war" and "the cold war is over. " Was he not paying attention or did it start again when he was elected? I don't know, but it must be one or the other.

The Cold War is over. This is the new normal - War for Oil.
In this case, some might argue it's the War for Natural Gas thanks to the precious pipes throughout Ukraine.

Poor old Sarah can't catch a break.
Even a small typo landed one of her appointments in trouble; Richard Postma Jr., a former judge, was thanked for his service by Palin, whose letter of thanks for his public service inadvertently dropped the 'L' out of public. Now Postma is suing the Alaska State Bar Association for hazing and the ruination of his legal career.
Former judge claims 'pubic' typo in Sarah Palin letter led to his lost career - Houston Chronicle

So, Sarah is still radioactively controversial, even after all these years. Whether she was right or wrong in the past still clings to her equally, over 5 years after she left public service for good. I think this will continue for as long as she remains in the public eye.

To me, her prediction on the Ukaraine is just as trivial as her unfortunate letter to a thin-skinned judge. She had no active part in either event… what happened was through no fault nor cause of her own doing. The initiation that started the event's process was all done by others.

When it comes to international events, especially in Europe, almost every opinion on the future will be proved to be true, given enough time.

Would anything meaningful in Ukraine have been different if McCain had won in 2008, though?

This is the million-dollar question here, and in response to it, I am tempted to say No.

The trick is not predicting the Russian bear would rise agin- it's in devising a strategy to deal with the eventuality.

Bush II ruined "idealistic dragonslaying" for ,oh, the next 100 yrs or so.

That's why Obama won the last two elections, handily. Americans like his caution when it comes to foreign conflicts.
Do you have evidence that it was "fed" to her by Bolton, or did it appear to you in a cloud of marijuana smoke?

Reagan was also a former sportscaster. He seemed to do ok with foreign policy.

Obama won the last two elections by playing the race card. Even Hillary Clinton said so in 2008. In 2012, Obama won the vote of 'people of color' by 81%, while Romney won the 'people of pallor' vote by about 57%. Obama and his minions exploited the racial fault lines. He had successfully implanted the notion of the GOP as the party of racism.

Obama is brilliant at knowing how to appeal to the low information voter. That's how he won Iowa in 2008, and that was his breakthrough election.

Indeed. Why couldn`t she predict that her underage daughter would start drinking and get pregnant? Why didn`t she predict that when Gomer Bush took over the result would be 9-11 only 8 months later? Did she predict that Bush would give billions in aid to North Korea to not develop a nuclear bomb and they would explode their first bomb 2 years later? Only senseless morons would pay attention to this dingbat. She had to ask McCain`s aides why there were 2 Koreas for God`s sake.
