Bush II ruined "idealistic dragonslaying" for ,oh, the next 100 yrs or so.

That's why Obama won the last two elections, handily. Americans like his caution when it comes to foreign conflicts.
I actually agree with you on the Palin thing but I'd be willing to bet that you were one of the people who laughed out loud when Romney said that Russia was our biggest geopolitical foe. But hey it worked, the media ran with it, the "pundits" giggled, and Obama smoked a Kool on his way to a re-election.

The Ukraine is news today but that is far from our greatest problem, China and the middle east are the middle east are our threats.. Russia has influence on some countries in the middle east but tough to take a country that's largest product is vodka. The Ukraine goes to the EU or pairs up with Russia, not the largest issue facing us.

Is there a Chinese warship in Havana Harbor that I'm unaware of?

Good one, no there isn't but there are quite a few near our Japanese and South Korean allies exerting their influence in the South China Sea not to mention their support of North Korea.

Typical lib response : "If Sarah Palin is so smart how come she didn't predict her daughter getting knocked up and 9-11 ????"

Really?....I mean really??......No grasping at straws there.

Even when she's right she is still a redneck, hick, dumb hillbilly ******. Goes to show you liberals have such a disdain for her and they probably don't even know why. Other then their puppet masters told them to be angry at her I have yet to hear one solid reason from the left on their utter hate for her. And no "she's such an dumb hick" isn't a reason. What have she done?, I mean it's not like she dropped the ball and 4 Americans died under her and when questioned by it said "what difference does it make?"....so again, what has she done?

Even a blind-drunk tosser gets a bull's eye once in awhile.

There's no record of spot on prognostication from Ms. Palin. If the Breitbart columnist were honest to himself, let alone to his readers, he'd say that she got lucky on this one.
