How Juan can state such an obvious truth and yet remain liberal is just a total mystery.

So, it goes to show that you can speak out against a person of color and not be racist?
That is correct. However if you reject Condi Rice as speaker because you feel that she's secretly from the Sudan and not really an American-- Then you're racist.
Juan, who is a liberal, hates how liberals hate on black conservatives!!
