You don't know your English very well do you? "Through" is a broadly defined word. "Through Ukraine" is not limited to geography. It could also be geopolitics, and many other things. And Uhmmmm is not an English word, FYI.

In fact none of you could give a tinker's damm about Ukraine or Crimea. You're only concerned how you can spin the situation against the president.

Taking Crimea is one thing. Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania are part of NATO. Attack one and you have instant war with 70% of Europe all over your ass. Attack one and you attack all. US and Obama have nothing to do with it. Europe will act with or without Obama and the US.
I hope you're right. Tho Russia trying trying to invade the Baltic countries WOULD be a real bad move.

What is this ^^^^^

When someone gets proven wrong in a political debate, we resort to grimmer policing instead of admitting to being wrong ????

Lord knows T-310 hop scotched all over the world to avoid saying he is wrong, but you ? That's sad.

Putin doesn't want the Soviet Union to return. He does want Russia to maintain its sphere of influence and he is sick and tired of all the broken promises that the West made to Russia. The US promised Russia/Soviet Union that it would not expand NATO past the Elbe River but instead they added all of the former Eastern Bloc and the Baltic states. Even after Putin helped the US after 9/11, The US began installing anti ballistic missile systems in the new NATIO states and tried to bring Central Asia and the Caucasus under its influence. The West also built an oil pipeline from Central Asia/the Caspian that bypassed Russia. With all these broken promises, can you really blame Russia for being paranoid?
