Well, at east the Republicans are doing something - admittedly, what they're doing is down-voting an IMF deal that would have provided Ukraine with much-needed cash. But that darn Obama was for it, and that tied their hands.

Putin is massing trops at the Ukraine border to take three cities in eastern Ukraine so he will have a better road/route to get to the Crimea.

Ukraine is begging for help. Just ignore them while a bully swallows them up?

There really isn't anything Obama can do that he isn't doing. War is not going to be the right answer here.

We could offer an aid package. Or maybe not?

We are not going to risk a land war, economic collapse and the deaths of hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions, over the possible break-up of Ukraine. Our true "red line" is the borders of NATO countries. Done

O should do nothing. It's not America's problem.

And don't send them any money either.

Moreover, what do you want Obama to do, start a war with Russia? I know, Obama can do now what Bush did when Russia invaded Georgia. Oh wait, that was nothing.
What do you mean NOTHING? He went to the Olympics and got drunk.

Nor should we. Because I have to tell you that if it is over on there side of the globe, we would get our a**es handed to us! The Russians don't kid around, when it comes to war on their soil. Of course if it were on this side of the globe, it would be them who would have their a**es handed to them.
