It does not matter what, if anything, "Most Americans" think of Benghazi.

Americans do NOT leave Americans behind and the blood of those four heroes who gave the full measure, cries out for justice and justice they will have!

LOL, "Osama bin Laden Al-quaeda is on the run".... now who exploited?

Man, it's unbelievable that people are so willing to give Obama a pass. It's sick.

Frankly, it's hilarious that you guys scream about Susan Rice, but hold up a known criminal as "innocent".
Frankly, it's hilarious that you guys try to pass off him being sent to jail for a year for parole violation as completely unconnected to his being blamed for the Benghazi attack. Others with similar violations don't get sent to prison for nearly that long, and his video had already been up for all to see well before the attack without any repercussions until Obama used him as a fall guy, but it was just pure coincidence, right? Absurd.

Secondly, no, a preliminary guess as to what happened did not let a single attacker escape. I suspect the real problem is the general lawlessness in Benghazi, but since the GOP would rather play "Fun With Words" than investigate anything of importance, it's impossible to know for sure where the investigation is.
No preliminary guess as to what happened is necessary. It is quite clear what happened without needing any guesses. The perpetrators of the attack were not pursued. That's not a guess, that's simple fact. No interviews were conducted, no arrests were made. The scene of the attack wasn't even examined for half a month after it occurred. CNN conducted an interview with an admitted participant in the attack who had never been contacted by any law enforcement.

There must be good reason why the White House wants to prevent further investigation.

In May last year, Senator Rand Paul was one of the first to speculate that the truth behind Benghazi was linked to an illicit arms smuggling program that saw weapons being trafficked to terrorists in Syria as part of the United States’ proxy war against the Assad regime.
“I’ve actually always suspected that, although I have no evidence, that maybe we were facilitating arms leaving Libya going through Turkey into Syria,” Paul told CNN, adding that he “never....quite understood the cover-up — if it was intentional or incompetence”.
Also revealed is that the U.S. State Department had hired an Al-Qaeda offshoot organization, the February 17th Martyrs Brigade, to “defend” the Benghazi Mission months before the attack.

The real truth behind Benghazi is likely to reveal that the Obama administration knowingly and deliberately provided surface to air missiles and other weapons to bloodthirsty Al-Qaeda jihadists in Syria who are now busy crucifying Christians while promising to bring their reign of terror to the west.

If investigation uncovered concrete evidence of this arms smuggling scandal, Obama would face impeachment and many members of his administration would be facing long stretches in prison.

MATTHEWS: Yeah, it was about the video. Read the newspaper. Thank you. Everybody knows it’s about the video. It’s all about the video.

That's what Obama, Hillary and the liberal media wanted us to believe. Just like they said that the Fort Hood killings was work place violence and not a terrorist attack. Lets just ignore that as Nidal Hasan was killing people he was screaming Allahu Akbar. Lets just forget that Nidal Hasan calls himself a soldier of Allah.

Obviously the left wants us to believe that Obama is so nice that no one wants to harm Americans and Al-quaeda is on the run.

Again,

A known criminal (and not of, say, having an ounce of weed, but a criminal who materially harmed other people) violated several terms of his parole, and intentionally created an international crisis, and the republican response is "but he's innocent!"

Law and Order Party, my behind.

None of what you claim is known. And the reason it isn't known, is because republicans prefer to play word games, to investigating into important matters.
