If I comment that a black child being born to a single mother is a near certitude, does the fact that this is true mean I don't get accused of being a bigot?

Of course Michelle Obama wants to target children because children don't notice that adults are full of ****.

These weren't little kids. These were graduating high school Seniros and this was in conjunction with the 60th Anniversary of the Brown vs Board of Education decision centered in the district she was speaking in.

I think William Ayres is a trouble maker.

Does the fact that MLK was also thought to be a trouble maker mean Ayres is not a trouble maker?

Just because a person is old doesn't mean they're automatically worthy of respect, and it doesn't mean someone has to tolerate everything they say.

People who challenge racism are often called trouble makers, as was King, doesn't mean you shouldn't do it.

How many black Miss Americas have there been?

The Miss Black America pageant started in 1968, because at the time the Miss America pageant might as well have been named Miss White America. The Miss America pageant started in 1921. The first black contestant didn't appear until 1970. The first winner was in 1984.

Black people started their own schools, fraternities/sororities, scholarships, beauty contests and the like because at the time they were all but excluded from the "mainstream" groups which mostly (if not totally) consisted of whites. But I guess in the mindset of racists, that's racist.

But not until after the Miss Black America pageant started. For 63 years Miss America = white.
