During. The trial proved that Martin was sitting on top of Zimmerman, leaning over him when Zimmerman shot him. Even the prosecution ended up conceding this point.
The trial did not prove anything of this sort. As a matter of fact, a witness testitified to the opposite and the prosecution never conceded this point but told the jury this version was physically impossible as Zimmerman could never had drawn his gun from this position. The prosecution later explained they were convinced Zimmerman approached Martin gun in hand and that was this conviction that made them prosecute the case.
They later explained?? Why the hell didn't they bring that up at the trial? Hell, if Zimmerman was brandishing a gun when he confronted Martin, like I suggested earlier, and Martin saw that gun. Add to that the fact that Zimmerman never identifies himself and to Martin was just a creepy guy following him who now had a gun that would explain why Martin attacked
I'm having a very hard time following your irrational and illogical posts but I'll give it a try.
This was not a stand your ground case, that is a FACT. The stand your ground defense was never used, Zimmerman never claimed this was a stand your ground instance and stand your ground was not part of this trial. Anything you say otherwise is just you being ignorant.
If Trayvon Martin was trying to stand his ground he failed when he got on top of George Zimmerman and began to beat his head against the ground. In reality Trayvon Martin wasn't standing his ground, he was just doing what he learned during some of his fight clubs and what he learned in the fights he had lost in the past.
Trayvon Martin wasn't there in court because of his own actions and because he physically assaulted someone, if you want to blame someone for Trayvon Martin getting shot you should visit his grave... Maybe you could pour out a 40 of watermelon Ice Tea for your dead homie Tray Tray.
Why did he attack? What was the motive? You do know that black people also have a right to defend themselves don't you?
WRONG! Anyone experiencing an "ass whooping" has the right to defend themselves, with deadly force if necessary. I think it was the right verdict. He should never have been charged in the first place. That was just grandstanding by an overzealous DA.
Yeah..........especially when you start the fight.
