When you take quotes out of context you lose the meaning and just end up looking stupid. You should try to avoid that in the future.

Rich politicians who want to spend on the poor and on their other constituencies, but in practice they don't want to hurt themselves and their friends and families, so they expand spending and pay for it by borrowing money from China and taxing well-compensated working people as hard as they can; when doctors and engineers pay twice as much of their income in taxes as people living off of tens of millions of wealth generating passive income something is deeply wrong.
You touch on a very significant reason the government seems to not work for or respond to the people's needs anymore. It's that a lot of these politicians are so very far removed from the life of an average person that they can't even understand what kinds of things can be done to fix what needs fixing.
