That's what most GOP politicians do to their mentally impaired followers. Seriously, all of their popular candidates in recent years have just been clowns who are doing a song and dance hoping to milk the dullards for all they can.

So scam artists flock to these movements and milk them for all they are worth. While I believe stupidity should be painful, hopefully some begin to realize how much they have been taken for a ride.
Maybe it will be just the lesson they need in order to start believing reality instead of self delusion.

I'm afraid you give birthers way too much credit. Their hatred of a black man in the White House will never be overcome with reason. If that was possible, the uncontested proof of his legitimacy would have already convinced them. You cannot convince those who do not want to be convinced, and they absolutely do not want to grant this president legitimacy under any circumstances. Facts have no bearing on their mindset.
