No release of transcripts? You must find literally every other president suspicious, then. The ONLY president who voluntarily released even an excerpt of his transcripts was George W. Bush and even then it was only after a page from his transcript had been leaked and the only thing he released was the page that had been leaked.
As for the "no one remembering him" crap. Once again bogus claims that even a moderate amount of research shoots down.
Oh look - it's the graduation program from Columbia that clearly lists him as receiving a B.A.!
Oh look! A directory entry from Columbia's student directory!
[QUOTE]Barack Obama ’83 -- The New Face of the Democratic Party? (Cover Story) Obama says he was still goofing off for the first two years of college, which he spent at Occidental in Los Angeles. He continued to play basketball, which friends say he is still quite good at, and was involved in other organized activities. He also spent “a lot of time having fun.”
He changed course junior year when he transferred to Columbia. “I realized I wanted to be in a more vibrant, urban environment,” he says. As a transfer student, he didn’t receive housing, so lived off campus in various makeshift arrangements, such as living in one bedroom of a three-bedroom apartment, and renting a sixth-floor walk-up with slanting floors on the East Side, “just north of gentrification,” as he describes it.
As he pursued a political science degree, specializing in international relations, Obama says he was somewhat involved with the Black Students Organization and participated in anti-apartheid activities. “Mostly, my years at Columbia were an intense period of study,” he says. “When I transferred, I decided to buckle down and get serious. I spent a lot of time in the library. I didn’t socialize that much. I was like a monk.”
in an interview with alan colmes, boone claims to be in contact with "trained detectives and investigators" and that they have the proof of "... the major smoking gun, which is a high crime, not just a misdemeanor, but a high crime, ...". i think it's pretty safe to say that those "trained detectives and investigators" are sheriff joe arpaio's cold case posse ( which, as far as i can tell, consists solely of mike zullo who isn't a trained police detective or investigator ). my guess is that boone has been contributing money to the posse and they're stringing him along to keep the donations coming.
it will be interesting to see if boone says anything in september when, once again, the posse fails to deliver "universe-shattering evidence".
Who cares about the opinion of another washed up celebrity? Doesn't matter if it's Boone or Springsteen, if they have an opinion about music, I'll listen. Politics? Their opinion means as much as my neighbors. Actually less, I actually like my neighbor.
One thing I have noticed, here you have a President who takes every opportunity for a photo op, and back in college he was anything but a shutterbug. Seems odd for someone of that generation not to have a ton of pics with friends and all. It was such a pastime back then and everyone wanted to do their group posing. He obviously had few friends, which beyond the speculation of birthers,
makes me wonder if maybe he's schizophrenic. Most folks that are as outgoing and friendly as he appears to be, are not lone wolves during college, they usually lead the pack....
As far as his parents being communist - there were many folks from that late '50's - early '60's generation that gravitated that way, as far away from McCarthyism as they could get, and with good reason. It was even thought of as being cool, to think outside of the box, especially during college.

Just in case you didn't read the post:

Yup. It's called "working hard". I can understand that very well. Towards the end of my college education I was taking part in an intense IT curriculum that required lots of dedication. Twenty-seven of us started the process. TWO of us finished. I had no social life then either. Didn't have the time.

In case you missed it here's an article from his college room mate (with photos):
Mostly, my years at Columbia were an intense period of study,” he says. “When I transferred, I decided to buckle down and get serious. I spent a lot of time in the library. I didn’t socialize that much. I was like a monk.”
I did read that. That's why I am saying maybe he's schizophrenic because I find it hard to believe someone that outgoing and friendly would be that reclusive. But then again, there are times when I've tried not talking so much but it always fails...
Maybe I'm just reading his friendliness wrong.
