Any article on either side of the fence that uses words like "crazy" in their title should be considered an opinion and not news.

This conflict is much older than any of us on this forum. Does anyone besides me realize that prophecy is being played out before our very eyes?

There is no such thing as prophecy. Nobody knows the future, ever. Nobody ever has. Nobody does. And nobody ever will. So-called "prophecy" seems to occur when enough feces are thrown at a wall and some of it sticks. Not a foretelling, just an accident. We need to stop with this kind of irrational nonsense, as it does not advance knowledge and does not describe reality. Again, the mistake being made is attempting to use emotions as cognitive tools. It doesn't work. In fact, the discussion of "prophecy" is an embarrassment in 2014. It is silly and it needs to stop. There is no destiny, there is no path laid out, there is no plan. There is time, free will, and decisions on what to do with the time we have. We determine our path. It is our plan and our execution. There is no such thing as prophecy.

I disagree that there is no prophecy. I agree there is free will.

Well Hamas promptly started launching rockets at Israel instead of agreeing to extend today's ceasefire the way the Israelis did. It is hard to imagine that the average Gazan is happy about this continued war situation.

And the source for that claim is an Israeli newspaper. Give me a break.

Just because the source is an Israeli newspaper it is still a reputable source as it is one of Israel's main national papers.
