New research from the Pew Research Center finds that more Americans blame Hamas in Gaza for the current fighting, but this blame falls among those under 30 years of age. Youth are more likely to be critical of Israel in the current situation. - See more at: Youth Don’t Buy Joan River’s Line: Young Americans Blame Israel – Jewlicious THE Jewish Blog

Picture yourself... sitting in a Starbucks a la a typical millennial... out of work and looking for work as most are... you're sitting there sipping your 6 dollar frappe dappy mocha whippety dipptity frothy drink.

A bomb flies in and blows half the place apart... or some tard with a vest strapped to himself goes off.

That was a real life scenario for a lot of Israelis.... imagine never knowing when a suicide bomber is gonna pull his vest and blow himself up and anyone else around them....

We as Americans have no real idea of what living like that is like....

You madam, don't either, it's real easy to sit back and armchair quarterback this whole nightmare....

Yes, they do. Most of "the younger generation" were still in diapers and watching Blue's Clues when Hamas and militant Fatah were sending bombers into Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. They don't have the context to understand why the "apartheid wall" went up and why it works, they just hear that it's there to keep all the poor peaceful Palestinians down.

Oh, rest assured... she won't

She'll just answer with a one-liner or a link.

It's a real life scenario for the Palestinians too. Its a sad situation for both. And I never said I knew how any of this felt. Where did you get that from my posts.

People also need to remember that Hamas only has 74 of 132 seats in the parliament, and there is an election in 2 years.

So what. We were all in diapers at some point during something historical. It doesn't mean we don't understand what happened. But we form our own opinions as to what is going on in this day and age. The younger generation has a different view point of the conflict and yes many blame Israel. You know what, that is their opinion and they have a right to their opinion

Israel is occupying Palestine illegally and ruthlessly punishing them anytime they try to fight back. The latest flare-up of violence is no different. Regardless of who started the latest mini-war, it makes little difference when looking at the larger picture. The fact remains that Palestinians were being collectively punished for the barbaric killing of three Jewish teenagers when Israeli troops illegally went into the West Bank and rounded up hundreds of Hamas activists. It provoked another round of counter-attacks from Hamas, and predictably, Netanyahu responded with massively disproportionate violence that has so far led to the deaths of more than 100 Palestinians. So far, no Israelis have died from Hamas’s ineffective rocket fire.
Can We Stop Pretending Israel is Being Attacked?

This was July 13th. If Netanyahu had called off the attacks, no Israelis would have died.

Christian leaders tell youth to 'tear up' Israel army forms

Quote:
Orthodox Archbishop Atallah Hanna and former Latin Patriarch Michel Sabbah on Friday urged Christian youth not to enlist in the Israeli military and to ignore Israeli "propaganda" encouraging them to do so.
Quote:
The leaders also stressed the "firm national position of the Christians in refusing to join a military that exercises violence against the rights of the Palestinian people."
