This guy has got to be stopped. His sole pursuit in life is to foment anger and strife about all the wrong things.
Most topics I just roll my eyes and remind myself that there is another side to things. But JJ has no more right or qualifications to comment on this situation than my parakeet.

I am no fan of JJ. He has a way of being invited into situations and making it all about JJ. Yet it seems to me that some media is a tad more focused on communicating what they infer rather than what was actually said.
There are some incredible sensational headlines out there, yet nothing factual within the story actually supports the headline.
The U.S. culture is substantially litigious. They expect compensation for mistakes. Half the states put a cap on damages and half the states let it rip. When a mistake is made , the culture believes someone deserves to be compensated.
In Texas, only punitive damages are capped. That means you still get pain and suffering, current and future lost wages and current and future medical expenses.
Are there any states that limit anything other than punitive damages?
I actually don't want too much of a cap on punitive damages; however, I believe punitive damages should go into a fund to help the community and the lawyer doesn't get any commission at all off of the punitive damages.
Yeah, in my town which is majority black, many of them have jumped on this bandwagon. They seem to have forgotten how those white doctors were saving the lives of all those black patients.
Regardless of race, it would be an extremely rare family that would pass up an opportunity to sue. This is the US, after all. Even if a family chose not to sue , the hospital's and MD's insurers would likely offer a settlement in exchange for an agreement not to sue at a future date.

The US should sue him and his family for bringing ebola here and likely infecting dozens of other people who came into contact with him.

No one knew the 7 month pregnant girl who collapsed had Ebola. I think somewhere along the way, it was believed she might have Malaria. The cause of death was not determined before Duncan departed and arrived in the US.
