The bottom line is gays are not normal, never will be, and will never be accepted by the normal world...
Believe all you want that heterosexuals will treat you like you are one of us...you will always be "gay".
Just be happy that its chic to have a gay friend...at least for the millenials who don't know better.
Doesn't matter if you think it's normal or not & whether you accept gays or not. The fact of the matter is, gays are humans just like you & for that reason alone DESERVE the very same rights & privileges that you do. Tough if you don't like it or understand that very very basic idea.

As blunt as this poster put it, its true!
Gays will be accepted into society the same way blacks will be accepted by racists whites. Yes they will fight for and have their rights but they will always be categorized as "gay".

You just pointed out something very simple: gays will never be accepted by bigoted people just as blacks will never be accepted by racists.
Yes, it is sad. However, the majority of the population have no problem with gays, just the bigots. So don't lump all people into one category of "people will never accept gays" because that statement in & of itself is patently false.
That doesn't mean that their "gay agenda" isn't valid, unless you are against their fight for equal rights.
I'm a believer in live and let live. I'm also a believer in equality for all.
As for the topic of this discussion, I can see why the parade organizers banned gays from marching behind their banner up until now though. If your gay and want to attend, then by all means feel free to attend as a human being. Not as a gay or hetero. What your sexual orientation is has nothing to do with a parade dedicated to Irish heritage.
